Welcome to my website. I hope you enjoy your visit! Horses have been my passion since early childhood. I love their individual personalities and expressive qualities. Colorful horses are my favorite; be it the carousel or the real thing! I am especially fond of the Appaloosa and its many different coat patterns; while carousel horses are very dramatic and haunting...the look in their eyes tells a story. I am also very fond of texture—I love to see brush strokes and layers of paint! Many of my works have thick layers of paint, usually applied with a palette knife. My paintings have been described as “luscious and delicious” and you just may want to reach out and touch them...go ahead, I don’t mind!
